Such a pretty baby came to say, ‘hello’ to our Tuesday night knitters. A gorgeous little girl with such proud parents, they are truly blessed.
A little hoodie I knitted for their first born child, which Mum, really seemed to like. (my first jumper, both back and front) You can see how tiny it is, by how large my sixteen year old sons hands are in this piccie.
And this is a joint effort from Tuesday night knitters, We all knitted a square, and then Anna, did the majority of the work, sewing it up, scratching around for everyones left overs so that she could work on the border so that it was an almost continuous colour, she did such a marvelous job. Honestly she did an awful lot of work to do all of that. But doesn’t it look wonderful. I think Mum loved it too.

I’m so glad you took a picture of the finished blanket – it looks wonderful if we do say so ourselves!

Both the blanket and the cardi are lovely.I started one square of Lizard Ridge but I frogged it becuase I didn’t like the way the particular ball of yarn knitted up. I do intead to have another go with different balls of yarn because I do like the effect of Lizard Ridge.

Mad about Craft, I’m so glad you like them. About the Lizard Ridge, I know there was a slight bit of fudging with the way the yarn was knitting up, on my squares at least. I remember the colours matching a little too closely at one stage and breaking a ball of wool (oh the horror) and starting again when the contrast was perhaps a little more startling to the eyes. The blanket really does sing doesn’t it.
