Beautiful roses.

When a dear friend of mine came to my door armed with the most amazing bunch of home grown roses, it simply took my breath away.  I was immediately transported into a rose scented arbour surrounded by the grand masters of rose painting, Claude Monet, Henri Fantin-Latour,  Jean-Baptiste Robie, to name but a few.  I have never had a bunch of roses like this, and forever will I be spoilt when I look at their commercial counterparts.

Beautiful, just beautiful. Gorgeous roses. (1 of 1)

Neal’s Yard

A while ago a friend who lives in Canada sent me a piccie via Facebook to ask me if the brightly coloured buildings in a courtyard was really a place.  I said I’d find out.  It took me a while but I found out the place was in Covent Garden, but when I went to Covent Garden I didn’t find it, realising I’d probably need to use a map for this one I went back. It really is a magical place, lots of little lovely shops and areas to explore, and will be even lovelier when the builders have finished.

Jenny this post is for you, enjoy. imageimageimageimageimage
