Minestrone and Strawberries.

Whilst hubby moved the strawberry bed for me.

I made a lovely minestrone soup, from our own beans and mostly our own vegetables.

Then I went up to the plot to help him clear out the old strawberry bed, after we walked in the woods, saw a farmer preparing his field for winter

and came home and had steaming hot bowls of minestrone served with Parmesan.
