Seeing this for the first time was a bit of a shock.
I didn’t think the scar would be that long, I think the surgeon cast off beautifully.
And out of all of our war wounds in our family, son no.2 most definitely wins the prize.
He really has been a very brave soldier.
He is still poorly, he’s not right, but has made fantastic progress in the last few days.
Extra points for counting how many staples there are, he wouldn’t let me count them!
OH every breath must hurt right now. I have been thinking of you all often. I know your son is a very brave young man.

Good Grief!!! He looks so swollen and I think I see a drain there too. Poor guy.Here's hoping for a quick recovery and that he'll soon be back to leading his regular life.

My husband has tram lines on his abdomen from surgery but Son no2 takes the biscuit!Hope he is making a quick recovery and is soon well.
