How good has this snow been. I mean to say I don’t remember it as deep as this in many a long year. In London I went for three winters without a frost, it was incredible. I am so loving this, Rupert has loved his sprints in the snow and hubby and I have loved the walking in the snow followed by the blissful warmth and glow of a coal fire. Apparently it might get a bit nippy on Tuesday night, predicted minus fifteen, I am not going to love that, I won’t be going out on that ice rink. But in the meantime, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Looks lovely Mandy! Too cold to take the dogs out or myself except for barn visits! -28 this morning.
I would love the English snow!

-28, oh Jenny. They were quoting a low drop tonight for us, I’m taking Rupert to bed with me, it will be too cold for him on his own,

Just a few flakes here, and no settling of snow. I thought of you with the low temperatures, and the sledges in Abbey Fields….You look lovely all wrapped up..bet there was a nice wool cardigan as one of the layers.

Thank you Noelle, it was a hand knitted jumper and thermal underwear, a t-shirt and a long sleeved top, a pair of leather gloves, a pair of hand knit lambing mitts, some jogging bottoms under my jeans and hand knit socks! I was so warm. The Abbey Fields is too far in the cold for Ruperts paws, maybe next year, it would have been lovely to see. We just had a lovely wander around the bottom park, and up the lane to the allotments, we saw a flock of long-tailed tits, so cute. Its a bit slippy today underfoot and tomorrow is going to be treacherous.
